Kitsune Noir Desktop Project

There was a cat in the bag, really vicious... it's out now. Kitsune Noir's desktop project has been something that I've liked to feel is all mine for a while, now I'm sharing it with you, mainly as it's so super awesome. I've been rocking the Will Bryant purple watercolours this week. I've now changed to there new Bosque one, loving the hand cut diorama's at the moment. Wicked stuff & lucky you. Check them all here.

Rad Lighting!

Check out this great lighting, perfect for that dark, dark wall, the boring corner of the garden that needs a life of it's own. Would be cool to make these up as yourself, or your idol, whatever takes your fancy. How fancy. Check more images here.

Kyle Bean

Great portfolio of Kyle Bean's work here, some amazing time lapse movies and 3D construction work. I especially love the future of books, laundry and the interactive typography. View portfolio here.

Folding Lamps

Very nice and smooth lined Lamps here, I love the way the use of bright colours gives extra depth to the shades. Though I don't know what kind of light they are going to put out, cool regardless. I can imagine that this would be kind of easy to make, if you had the time... Check a few more pics here.

Commons POTY

Picture's of the year. Great collection of images from the Wikipedia giants. Anyway - have a look, niceness guaranteed. Commons POTY.

TUFF - Soviet Punks

It is always mega scary when someone tells you they are going to kill you, but when someone with a husky russian accent tells you, it's kind of a different story... They are scary out there... Especially when the are dressed like a combination of MC Hammer and something out of a kids TV show. Anyway, if Soviet Punks are your big thing then your in luck, a nice collection here.

Shower Curtains

Here we go, the ultimate gift for the ultimately hard to buy for. Why not purchase one or more of these highly original shower curtains with your favorite, or least liked image splashed across it. Maybe a shower murder scene would be your cup of tea? Regardless of what you desire to wake up to... you should really get one. What a shame they don't do shower doors... I'd be in with a grin.
Check it here.

Giant Big Rig sculpture

Fantastic sculpture created out of 2 old big rigs in a desert somewhere, reminds me of the crazy burning man sculptures. Check out a couple of other images here.

What?

Mega Mystery Monday Image

3D Printer, 3D Maker :: MakerBot.

This is so F'n great. a desktop, portable 3D printer. You feed in plastic tubing, the machine melts it, a little nozzle moves around in a prescribed pattern, creating a shape of your description. I can only begin to imagine the potential of this, you can make excellent plastic molds, custom art, jewelery etc... The list goes on. View in more detail here.

Cat Café

Ok, sorry, I've been mega busy with no time to troll the web for exciting things. Though I have found this great series of images from a Cat Café in Japan where you can go to sit with a cuppa & stroke a cat, 20 resident cats are there to be petted by the cat lovers of Japan, great for those who don't have the space or time for a cat themselves.
Cool. Check it out here.

Special special spiders

36 hours after drowning, wolf spiders were able to revive themselves and suffered no ill effects, scientists discovered recently.

A study at the University of Rennes in France found that wolf spiders died after 24 to 36 hours of being immersed in water. But when the scientists came back to weigh the dead spiders, they found them alive again. Apparently wolf spiders can put themselves into comas and shut down the metabolic processes that do not require air. Arachnologist Julien Pétillon says,

“There could be many other species that could this this that we do not know of yet.”

Nada One

Not too much known about this guys here... Except that he has done this fantastic fluffy monster graffiti. I would love this to be on the wall outside my house. If anyone knows how to paint like this then my address is...

Ok, I've found some more info about him, he is from Switzerland. He is 33. And you can see much more of his art on his MySpace here. Lucky you.

Slinkachu

Great photography/art here by Slinkachu. Minature's inserted into everyday surroundings, fending for themselves, living off waste left behind from us giants.
Really cool stuff here. I quite like the snail section too.
Slinkachu is a UK based artist. View his work here.
