This is the full shape planned out. I've not got to make up some cardboard models of this, chop the bottom off it & I will then be able to transfer the flat bottom onto this image. This will give me a solid level footing so the whole unit is perfectly stable & strong.
I have also been thinking about making the unit out of plywood & then fibreglassing the whole unit. This way I can get a nice smooth paintable surface that is fully waterproof. I would just need to the paint the inside with waterproof sealer & all going to plan it should last for years.

Dima Rebus
Umm. Wow. Amazing, unsettling, beautiful watercolour work by 24 year old small town russian. Check out more of his work here.
Call Parade - Brazil
What happens when you give 100 phone booths to 100 artists in Brazil? You get amazing!
From beautiful to bizarre. Strange to surreal. Sponsored by Brazilian telecommunications company Vivo, this is a fantastic public art project that could easily be done in many countries in many formats.
To see the full 100 booths check them out here.

Luxury
Doing a reno? Got a spare $15,000 for a bath? Yes? You should definately get ones of these copper baths. Truely amazing. I can only imagine how nicely it would age too. In 10 years time with a nice verdigris edging. Nice.
I have put a few other images of my most liked products, the porthole bath, super cool for kids, or adults. The cast iron cistern toilet is amazing. I'd love to have one of these. Plus they even sell old fashioned thunder boxes, who would have thought.
Check them out here: The Water Monopoly

Letterpress
Lovely, textured letterpress. Check out the video of the process by Mr Colt Bowden. Makes me want to clear a space under the house & get pressing those letters. Though if I did everything I had a want for then we would have no room in the house, or no house.
Anyway, check it out here: http://vimeo.com/35937251

Wonderwall
How exciting, interior design firm Wonderwall have done some truly beautiful work. I really dig the Godvia Chocosite in Harajuku, the roof and the walls. Yum. A Bathing Ape store, the Ice Cream Store in Hong Kong photos are great. I went to the NYC store & this is very similar. I would love one of those couches for Ivy's room.
They have a great website interface too. Definitely check them out!

Garden in the sun
Happy Fathers Day to me. I got the grand haul this weekend. Lovely day with my Wife, Daughter & Pug.
Plus I scored all these plants for an excellent price. 2 x Nikau's, 27+ adult Ligularias & a 3.5m Brazilian Tree Fern. All for $100.
Anyway, all are planted & fingers crossed they stay happy. Might just have to install a watering system now...

Arran Gregory
Fantastic polygon mirror sculptures. These are amazing. I would love the rhino head at my place, would look excellent. I wonder how these are made, would be into seeing a construction video.
Check out some of his latest exhibition work here. & this is his website: http://www.arrangregory.com/

Strings and nails
Great typography/text work by Martin Pyper here.
Some serious dedication/spare time going on with excellent results. I'd love to see a full shop signage made like this. Or maybe a centrepiece behind a counter. Hmmmm...

Time flies
I can't believe that it has been this long between posts. My how things have changed.
Between having a house requiring mass DIY, a super cool pug, a baby girl, a high maintenance garden, a lovely wife and a sapping job, my blog has taken a back seat. I feel that now the focus will change slightly, as I have changed obviously.

Go Austria
This super cool building has been built in Austria for a motor tech company. It's a box. A box of pixels. Pixels of spherical images.
I thinks it's excellent and I've love to see inside too. Here is a little photo set of the exterior for you to feast on.
I wonder how visitors find the front door?
Herakut
I thought I had already blogged about Herakut. Maybe not so it seems.
Well, Herakut is the alias of 2 German artists, could say graffiti artists. I first saw them painting at Cargo in London. Pic here. Thought the work was amazing & looked into them further. Since then they have done many more amazing things & I can't keep up. Have a look at their website here and get an idea of what sort of work they are doing. I've got to point you in the direction of this snippet I've located in Juxtapoz. Amazing full building side piece. I love this. Check a few more photos here.
There is also a nice little bio of the duo here.
Would you live in a cement factory?
I would, if it was this one. As you will see by looking through the photo set here. It is AMAZING. The scale of the ceilings, the round walls, the huge windows, the full length drapes, the garden, the ivy, the furniture, the worn concrete, the lighting - it is all great. Except for some of the chairs, a couple of really unfortunate choices in there to be honest. As someone rightly mentions in the comments below - image the heating bill! Regardless, I would shift tomorrow. Big plus that it's in Barcelona.
30
It's my 30th tomorrow... Yay, apparently this is a time of change. Maybe it will mean I'll update my blog more regularly?
The High Seas
Now here is something local that you should keep an eye on. Funky little gallery up by The Supper Club on Beresford Sq off K'Rd. I saw a bizarre photography exhibition a couple of weeks ago, loads of cool overlaid images. I'm constantly seeing fun little viewings pop up in my facebook memo's. Definitely something to keep an eye out for. Check out their website here. It's got a good listing of upcoming events. Right nice.

Krista Huot
Wonderfully playful art here from Krista Huot. Lovely colours & themes. Have a look around here work here. She has exhibited with names such as Amy Sol & Camilla D'Errico too!
Just a random FYI, it is so cold in my spare room - my fingers are freezing, I think it's nearly time we got curtains in here!
The Berlin Reunion
I know that this is a little on the old side - but I'm trying to get through a back log of things to blog. This is a rad little snippet of a performance by France's Royal de Luxe theatre company. Helping to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Using giant puppets covered in operators, they tell us a story. Amazing scale and design! Imagine being there and witnessing this. wow. Check out a bunch of photos here.

Misfortune Cat
This is one of my long lusted after toys, new, awesome colourway too. Though very hard, if not impossible to get. Sadly. Though I have managed to find a cheap as anything Tado 8" Dunny. Stoked. Check out some more pics of the Misfortune Cate here, lovingly created by the collaboration between Ferg & Playge.

1800 Tequila
Ooo yeah, if you are on the hunt for something super to collect then maybe this is for you. 1800 Tequila bottles. Ha, how westie... But seriously, there are wicked, graphics designed by the likes of Shepard Fairey... I'm really loving the owl. Rad. Check out the whole range here, even has a movie.

Amanda Visell Studio Tour
If you like Amanda Visell's work like me, you always wanted to have a look through her studio like me and you have always wondered if someone so talented can live a normal life, like me. Then you will definitely want to check out these 2 little youtube clips like me. Great. Extra love for the burning wood labbit! Check the videos here.
Everything and me
Great work here by someone named Clemens Behr on Society 6. I'm loving the scale of these installations. Using wood, tape, paint & cardboard he has really managed to twist perspectives. Love it. Check out his Society 6 page here. Have a browse through his website here for further work.
Concrete Hermit
Now I think I may have mentioned Concrete Hermit on here before, but it's pretty cool so I'm aloud to mention it again.
It may be in London, just up from Brick Lane, but it still holds host to heaps of wicked artists work. I remember seeing a very strange experimental John Burgerman exhibition there. They have a uber rad range of t-shirts, stacks of lovely prints, hand pulled screens, books and toys. You get the idea... general raddness. I really love the record eater and I know a certain someone who would be well into this one. View the whole site here. Browse & enjoy & if you are ever near, have a look then go for a Beigel Bagels salt beef bagel here.

I Love Dust studio
Super Studio... I would love to be working in a place like this. Especially because it would mean I'd be doing work for the ultra grand I Love Dust team. I've admired their work for years, across toys, clothing, branding etc... super. Nice to see some kidrobot toys floating around in there too. Except they are using those stink little standard apple keyboards... I can't imagine how they could be used for actually working. If you have not heard of I Love Dust before, you have to check them out. Do so here.
Domo invade!
Domo is rad. Most of my icons on my work mac are Domo.
Now I have to go without having my morning coffee in a Domo cup and a hotdog in a Domo box. Not that I buy a coffee in the mornings, or eat hotdogs. But if I had the Domo option then I probably would.
I love the spilt Domo a little further down the page. yum. But seriously, a spiced pumpkin Latte??
Check out the launch range across 7-eleven's here.
Miss Van
Here is an interview with Miss Van that I found. We saw some of her work when Sarah & I we going through Barcelona. It's def a trademark style. But really nice to see her steering away from just juicy hips & lips towards some of her almost traditionally painted pieces. V nice. Though our house has already got way to many ladies on the walls. She had an exhibition at the sorely missed StolenSpace Gallery in London a while ago. Jealous.
Grand scale Polish
Excellent full building side mural in Poland. Not alot known, but super cool. Enjoy. Hi res here. More artist/krew info here.
