Michael Steele
Excellent paintings from Melbourne artist Michael Steele. He is exploring themes through the use of 'clusters' Some very bright & almost, logo like work. I'd love to have one about 3 metres square in my kitchen. Wouldn't we all. View his portfolio here.
James Roper
Take a meander through this guys website, some beautiful work, amazing use of colours. He has got a great drawing section too, plus his sculpture work is a true sign of patience. Great.

Potato art
Now, these are an odd gaggle of veges here, def not for the faint of heart, throw these into a boiling pot of water and you are destroying some fantastic Beirut art by Ginou Choueiri and you are probably going to have nightmares of these faces staring up at you from said boiling water.
Therefore, I think it is best that they are admired for what they are. Great pieces of highly original art. Check them out here.
Perfect furniture.
I have discovered the ultimate furniture for our new apartment. A perfect mix of industrial, natural and modern household attire. I love it so much that it pains me to see that each item is only available on application and everything is custom made to your exact specifications. This does not exactly scream out affordability to me. So maybe, just maybe I will have to get some tools, time and a little (lot) bit of know how & custom make my own furniture in a 'similar' style to these.
Check it all out here & be amazed.

Great 3M products
How much do you want on of these tape dispensers and the post-it feeder sitting on your desk. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say 8. My work would improve and everything else around me would be dandy.
I can't find much out about these apart from the fact that they are rad and that they were designed by students at Ontario College of Art & Design. Super cool.

Adhemas Batista's Portfolio
Umm, wow.
This guy could possibly be my hero. Or an idol, is there a difference? His work is consistently amazing. He has done amazing work for some huge international brands despite being based in Brazil. Maybe there is hope for me yet in little old New Zealand. View his portfolio here.

Pinel & Pinel
Check out the items that these clever guys are producing... Some of the most outrageous, functional yet strangely impractical contraptions. From there Movie truck (pictured) to the iMac trunk. They even have a trunk that you can grow bonsai in. I did like the look of their crocodile & lambskin jandals though, I bet they are affordable.
Check out there amazing collections here.

Rhino anybody?
Wicked cool cardboard Rhino, comes in dog size, medium & small. I think it would be great to have a whole bunch of the dog sized ones & spray paint them all slightly different hues of the same colour. Start your safari army here.

We all hate Cuckoo Clocks
BUT I love these ones. The remind me of the ones I saw at WORLD. THey are made by some german guy, view his personal blog here. It seems he is pretty into his graffiti too, some great stuff involving squirrels. I love the colours and themes that he has used on the Cuckoo clocks though, very bright I bold, I especially love the bones behind them, like skull & cross bones. Very nice.
Duffy - London
I'm upset now, Upset that while I was in London I didn't know about Duffy. Not Duffy the musician, Duffy the store. They have got a fantastic range of incredibly stylish products that I love. I'm especially feeling the canvas zipped room dividers and the small printed gilded frames with bulldog clips. But above all else would have to be the chairs, the 'Shadow Chair' is simply fantastic! I don't know how it would work on different angles, but in the photo's it looks great. i want one. No, I want eight.
